Rock & Roll Sopan

Jiwa rock & roll tak boleh marah-marah. Kena cool. Buat suara tinggi-tinggi pon bukannya cool. Tapi nape orang suka suara tinggi-tinggi.Nampak tua lagilah. Lagilah tak rock & roll. Nasib baik suara aku perlahan. Tapi time nyanyi kena suara tinggi. Itu terkecuali.

Cool dan selamba adalah tema rock & roll sopan. Cool dan blur?Mungkin boleh.

What We Have

Some people said, you worked because you want to buy a big house or a beautiful car. It was an asset, they said.  To pass on your children, they think. Somehow, I was thinking what is the important to have a big house, fancy cars or anything related to the eye of the materialistic. To gain satisfaction?  To show-off?  To feel the possession?

Because in the end, we will leave everything we have when we died. Every single living cell will die. We don’t bring the big house or fancy cars when we died,right? But I know, some people got hobbies. Like collecting cars, maybe. What the most matter was, what we have done in our life. What we have learnt in our life. In the end,that we will bring. And, that is the matters. 

For me, use the money to explore everything, see the world, do something,learn something, learn new things,help people, make a change. We just live once.

The Instrument, Its Consequence To The Band And Ours

The Sentimental a.k.a Acoustic guitar :
The people who seen beyond of that, have a sense of sentimental value, seeing flow of it, melancholic


The Loud a.k.a Current guitar :
The people who are more aggressive, clear impression, loud, hard chord when angry, soft chord when in love


The Rhythm a.k.a Drums :
The people who are finding a rhythm of life, big heart, angrier when the rhythm become fast, happier are fills with more rhythm, love with slow rhythm


The Tone a.k.a Bass guitar :
The people who complete the sound of it, laidback and relax just like the tone of it, it’s a must, just like adding some flavour to it


The Key a.k.a Keyboard :
The people who can fit anywhere, find the right key to it, fix the unfix, flexible


The Voice a.k.a Vocalist :
The people who shout out what he feels, make it clear about what was it all about - with word

Girl & Music. And Breads.

Last time during my year in the university, we had our bakery shop. Our favourite spot when we had little money, or maybe we want to hear good music or maybe the bread was so delicious. The bread was so cheap and the porridge was always a sold out in that bakery shop. With soy sauce, fried onions, chillies, spring onion and fried anchovies, the porridge was so yummy!

As I was said that the bakery shop was our favourite spot, so were the other students. I remembered, as always in the afternoon after class, we had our porridge time and listening to the music. There was a boy and a girl came to the shop. They might be girlfriend and boyfriend. They bought some breads.

They want to leave and suddenly, the boy wants to sit down. The table was next to us.  The girl said, Why? The boy said, I want to listen to this song. The girl said, What song?

I was like, What? You don’t know this song? You know this song by the first ten seconds! I walk on and said to the boy, “Man, you got a girl who doesn’t know music.”

But of course, I was saying it in my head. The song was Nothing Else Matters by Metallica.

Umur

Semalam bestday aku. Hari ini kawan opis aku belanje pizza. Naseb baik bestday aku awal bulan. Kalo tengah bulan agak-agak pikir dua kali nak belanje aku. Terime kaseh kawan sepejabat ku.

Kawan aku tanye, "Ini yang ke berape?"
Aku jawab," Yang kedua puluh lapan lah"
Kawan sepejabat aku yang satu lagik," Aik, pandai nak kurang setahun,"
Aku konpius. Aku rasa macam tak pandai kira-kira. Balik dari makan, aku carik kalkulator.
Eh, betollah. Aku mula pening.
Kawan-kawan tolong aku. 2012-1984, berape agaknye?

Lada Israel

Sebelum ini emak masak sambal goreng. Memang luar biasa pedasnya. Pedas semacam. Memang aku cirit lepas tu. Kebetulan minggu itu kenduri kawan aku. Naseb baek ok pada masa tu.

Hari ini emak masak sambal sotong. Memang nampak kuahnya lain macam. Aku amek sambalnye saje sebab aku tak makan sotong lauk. Makan sotong goreng tepung sahaja. Memang demanding betol aku.

Aku rasa. Peh! Pedas betol! Tekak mula membahang. Naseb baek aku campur sedikit saja dengan nasik. Tak boleh jadik ni. Aku capai botol kicap dalam icebox. Kemainlah banyak aku letak kicap sampai hitam nasik aku. Nak hilangkan pedas punye pasal. Adek aku jawab " Menanges dalam jamban". Tanya emak, dia kata ok pulak makan sambal. Kitorang semua cirit sebelum ni, lepas makan sambal goreng yang pedas semacam tu.

Apsal pedas sangat lada ni? Abah jawab "Lada Israel". Tetiba abah tukar channel RTM. Ada lagu bahase pelik. Abah kata," Ni lagu Boyan ni" . Abah terus sing along lagu Boyan tu. Aku pelik. Sejak bila abah tau lagu Boyan ni? Bukan abah orang Jawa ke. Lepas nyanyi abah terus berlari ke jamban. Apa kaitan lagu Boyan dengan lada Israel?

Berus Gigi

Tengok, berus gigi abah dah kembang.

Mak cakap, dah belikan ubat gigi Sensodyne.

Abah cakap, nape tak belikan sekali berus gigi.

Mak terus hulurkan berus gigi. Berus gigi tak berjename, kata emak.

Abah kata, tak kisah. Asal boleh gosok gigi.

Aku berpikir, rasanye baru aku belikan berus gigi. Dah 3 bulan ke? Biasanye setiap 3 bulan kena tukar berus gigi kan? Tapi ini mesti untuk orang yang patuh saja.

Kejap saja sudah kembang.

Mak cakap abah berus gigi ganas sangat kot.

Mak kata, cuba tengok berus gigi abah.
